MULTIMEDIA SPECIALIST

TNT - Today‘s News Talk | February 2022 - October 2024

As a Multimedia Specialist at Today‘s News Talk, I was responsible for the production and support of various aspects of live news broadcasts.

Key Responsibilities:

Audio & Video Editing:

Edited and mastered recorded audio and video for distribution on podcast platforms for on-demand viewing.

Graphic Design & Photo Editing:

- Created various graphical assets such as icons, documents, guides, overlays and more.

- Edited a range of photos and headshots to be used during live broadcasts.

Panel Operation / Live Audio Mixing:

Operated a commercial audio mixer, balancing and adjusting live audio levels, and performed audio checks with guests and talent.

Live Guest & Talent Coordination:

- Contacted and coordinated with various live guests and producers to prepare and connect guests for live interviews.

- Coordinated and communicated with live on-air talent to effectively manage and maintain a specific broadcast format.

Broadcast Software Management:

- Operated and managed a broadcast playout system (CLOSE Radio TV) to schedule and automate the playout of ads, stingers/sweepers, promos, and clips.

- Implemented and utilized mimoLive 6 as primary streaming software to control scene switching and to broadcast to multiple platforms such as YouTube, X, Rumble and more.

Administrative Tasks:

Handled emails and phone calls, created documents and spreadsheets, invoiced, processed payments, and performed other ad hoc tasks.

IT Support & Technical Troubleshooting:

Provided rapid-response IT support and technical troubleshooting to guests, on-air talent, and other studio staff to quickly resolve technical issues before and during live news broadcasts.

At Purewellness, I worked to create a range of graphical assets supporting marketing efforts and packaging design and working to maintain and improve brand identity.

-Created a range of assets for marketing materials, product renders, labeling, packaging and logos.

-Liaised with printers and packaging suppliers to effectively coordinate the design and supply of new product packaging and labels.
