This project is a remake of a previous scene, re-rendered to explore how far the original assets could be pushed in a path-traced workflow. While the original version was composed and rendered in Unreal Engine 5, this iteration is fully path traced in Blender.
All assets remain unchanged, using the same models and textures as the original project. The primary differences include the use of a custom HDRI created in Terragen and the addition of physical snow to the foreground elements.
The cabin was modelled in Blender and textured in Substance Painter. Trees were created in SpeedTree, with textures from Megascans and Substance Painter. Terrain was generated in World Creator and textured using Megascans. Grass and rock assets are from Megascans, and the sky is a custom HDRI produced in Terragen.
